Honorees

Steeped in history and inspired by the first event held 33 years ago in Texas, the mission of the Cattle Baron’s Ball is simple: to raise money for cancer research, education, advocacy and service - to benefit patients, survivors, and their families. The American Cancer Society funded nearly $16 million for research projects in Ohio alone in 2007. Funds raised at this event will support service programs such as Man to Man, Reach to Recovery, Look Good…Feel Better, and the popular Patient Navigator program.

Who hasn’t been touched by cancer? If you’re reading this page, chances are you’ve either lost a loved one, cared for a friend, or you are cheering on someone dear to you who has been happily “branded” a survivor!

We fall into all three categories, and that’s why we’re proud to be the Honorary Chairs of the first Cattle Baron’s Ball to be held in Cincinnati, slated to take place on May 17, 2008, at the Greenacres Arts Center in Indian Hill.

Please join us, with the community of business leaders, health-care professionals and pioneering citizens, as together we round up our passion and drive to “Stampede for the Cure” in support of the American Cancer Society on May 17, 2008, at Cincinnati’s Cattle Baron’s Ball. Together we can leave cancer in the dust.

We'll save you a horse.

Sincerely,
Honorary Chair’s Name
