The Seattle Aquarium l Seattle, WA
Abraham Dairi has been involved with the American Cancer Society since 2009 when he joined the Hope Gala planning committee as a sponsorship and ticket sales sub-committee chair. He quickly jumped to event chair for the 2011 event and helped increase revenue by 50%. In 2012, Abraham spent some time in Pennsylvania before returning to Seattle. He attended the Hope Gala (pictured second from the left) upon his return and vowed to get reengaged with the American Cancer Society.
At the end of June, Abraham joined 75 other volunteers at Camp Goodtimes West as a camp counselor. He spent the whole week at Camp, learning from the pediatric cancer patients, survivors and siblings. It was an experience that changed his life forever. He is known and welcomed into the camp family forever as "Buzz".
One week after Camp, Abraham was announced as the 10th Annual Camp Goodtimes Wine Auction Chair. He is a strong leader and has set ambitious goals for the committee and constituents to raise even more money for Camp Goodtimes West in 2013.
He looks forward to meeting everyone on April 6, 2013 at the Seattle Aquarium for what will aim to be the best event to date!
